ﻭَﺍﺫْﻛُﺮْ ﺭَﺑَّﻚَ ﻛَﺜِﻴﺮًﺍ
(And remember your Lord much)
Zikr-e-Ilahi (Remembrance of Allah) is the life of a believer's heart and the freshness of the soul. Allah Almighty, while emphasizing His remembrance in the Quran, says: "ﻭَﺍﺫْﻛُﺮْ ﺭَﺑَّﻚَ ﻛَﺜِﻴﺮًﺍ" meaning that a servant should remember his Lord in every situation. Zikr is not just the name of reciting Tasbeeh with the tongue, but the name of remembering Allah with the heart, tongue, and actions. When there is fear of God in the heart, gratitude and praise on the tongue, and obedience in actions, then this is complete Zikr.
Through Zikr, hearts find peace, are protected from sins, and the servant becomes close to Allah. In today's era of noise and negligence, Zikr-e-Ilahi is the only lamp that illuminates hearts and makes life blessed. The servant who remembers his Lord, Allah also remembers him - this is the real spirit of servitude.
May Allah Almighty grant us the ability to perform His Zikr and worship in the true sense. Amen
