*🌻Things That Do Not Break the Fast*

[1] The fast is not broken by eating or drinking forgetfully. Even if one eats or drinks forgetfully more than once, the fast is not broken.

[2] If a person is seen eating or drinking something forgetfully, then if he is strong enough that fasting does not cause him much discomfort, it is obligatory to remind him of the fast, and if he is not strong enough, but fasting causes him discomfort, then do not remind him, let him eat.

[3] Swallowing one's own saliva does not break the fast, no matter how much it is.

[4] After eating betel leaf, rinsing the mouth thoroughly, gargling, and cleaning the mouth, but the redness of the saliva does not disappear, there is no harm, the fast is valid.

[5] If the nose is blown so hard that mucus goes down the throat, the fast is not broken. Similarly, the fast is not broken by sucking and swallowing saliva from the mouth.

[6] If the blood is less than the saliva and the taste of blood is not felt in the throat, the fast is not broken.

[7] If something is tasted with the tongue and spat out, the fast is not broken, but it is undesirable to do so unnecessarily. If someone's husband is bad-tempered and there is a fear that he will be angry if the salt etc. is not right in the curry, then there is room for her to taste the salt.

[8] It is undesirable to chew something in one's mouth and feed it to a small child, but if there is a dire need for it and there is compulsion and helplessness, then there is room for it.

[9] It is permissible to clean the teeth with a miswak, whether it is a dry miswak or a fresh one. It is not undesirable even if the taste of the miswak is felt in the mouth.

[10] The fast is also not broken by giving blood, getting blood transfusions, injections, and drips.

[11] The fast is not broken by applying makeup, cream, or lotion.
