Ramadan is a great opportunity to renew a covenant with your Lord.
Therefore, tear up the registers of your old sins, and write down deeds with your good deeds that erase past mistakes and evils.
Have a session of repentance and remorse with yourself, and purify your heart;
Because the paradise whose doors are opened in Ramadan, asks for a clean heart before good deeds:
"Except for those who come to Allah with a sound heart."
So wash your heart with forgiveness,
Disinfect it with remembrance,
And strengthen it with prayer.
Beware! Do not fast in Ramadan while there is malice or hatred in your heart for someone.
And remember also to decorate the house, adorn the street, but do not leave your heart dirty.
As Rafi'i said:
"Do not organize the life around you while chaos remains in your heart."
Hang the ornaments of forgiveness and forbearance in your heart,
And illuminate it with the lights of pardon and gentleness.
O Allah! Make this blessed month a month of closeness to You for us,
Illuminate our hearts with the light of faith,
Forgive us,
Gather our hearts on Your love and obedience,
Grant us patience and forgiveness,
And grant us the highest Paradise with Your mercy,
O Most Merciful.
May Allah accept our fasting and prayers
And bless our bodies and souls.
