Prayer
Prayer is a form of worship that strengthens the relationship between the Creator and the creation; however, we consider it just our duty, and even the majority of us consider it merely an unnecessary thing.
While the reality is the opposite, what is the reason that the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
“The coolness of my eyes is in prayer.”
Let's take a look at whether the status of prayer that we see today was the same in the time of the Prophet, the time of the Companions, and the Followers.
No, not at all.
They used to spend their nights standing before their Lord.
Their blessed feet would swell from standing, but they would say, "Should I not be a grateful servant of Allah?"
And we, by just saying "Alhamdulillah," think that we have given thanks for all the blessings and honors of Allah, the Lord of Majesty.
Please, come out of this delusion.
Before there is no time left to change yourself.
Prayer is not just a collection of a few actions and movements.
Rather, it is the beauty and ascension of the Ummah.
Prayer is entirely light, and the one who prays is entirely radiant.
Prayer is the name of the relationship between the lover and the beloved.
Prayer is the connection between faith and Islam.
Prayer is the control of our unity and agreement.
Prayer is a manifestation of faith, a cloak of love, comfort in pain, and a sympathetic and consoling companion in distress and sorrow.
It is said that one loves the means and rules of the one they love.
But what is the matter that
we claim to love, but we are not guardians of prayer.
Has love decreased, or has the style of love changed?
The same sun
The same moon
The same earth
The same sky
The same Creator
The same creation
The difference has only come in our actions.
Even today, if we correct our actions,
and sacrifice our lives in obedience to the Lord,
it is not far-fetched that
our voice will shake the palaces of the disbelievers.
Our sigh will cause an earthquake on the Throne.
And the hearts of the disbelievers will tremble with our awe.
In short... It is not enough to pray; there is a need to fulfill the prayer.
