*The Wolves Published a Newspaper: Give Freedom to the Goats*
Today, the title of my writing is the great students of Jamia Millia, with whom I have a complaint. They raised the slogan, taking the names of all religions – Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, Christian – that "Give us freedom!" And the reason was that a pregnant Hindu girl was dragged into the university and she died.
*First, listen to an incident that is perfectly in line with this situation*
The wolves held a procession in favor of the goats, saying, "Give freedom to the goats! The rights of the goats are being violated. They are being kept imprisoned in homes." When one goat heard this voice, she said to the other goats, "Listen, listen! Processions are being held in our favor. Let's also go out and raise our voice for our rights." An old goat said, "Daughters, be sensible! These wolves are our enemies. Don't listen to them." But the young goats did not listen to her and said, "Aunt, your time was different. This is the modern era. Now no one can snatch anyone's rights. How can these wolves be our enemies? They are talking about our rights." Hearing this, the old goat said, "Daughters, they want to destroy you. You are safe now. If you listen to them, they will tear you apart." Hearing this, the young goats got angry and said, "Mother, you have become old. Now let us live our lives. What do you know about what freedom is? There will be beautiful fields outside, lush gardens, greenery everywhere, only happiness." Keep your advice to yourself. We cannot tolerate this imprisonment anymore." Saying this, they all started chanting slogans of "Freedom, freedom!" and went on a hunger strike. When the owner of the herd saw this situation, he was forced to open them up and set them free. The goats were very happy and ran away, chanting slogans and jumping, and lost their minds.
The wolves then attacked them and tore the innocent goats apart. Today, those who talk about women's rights are actually seeking the freedom to reach women. They are thirsty for the blood of these innocent women. They are not concerned about women's rights, but about their own filthy thirst. If only someone would understand that today's liberal man does not want the freedom of women, but the freedom to reach women.
Now, what I want to say is, my sisters and my brothers, I don't care about Hindu, Sikh, Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Jain, or any other religion. Let them raise the slogan of freedom or whatever slogan they want because these may be the religions that have not given complete freedom to their followers. But Islam (by the grace of Allah Almighty and Holy) has given complete freedom to both women and men. Now, if a woman or a man wants more freedom than this, then that is not freedom, but rather debauchery and transgression.
If you want to indulge in lust, then the families of both the girl and the boy should talk and get married, give the Mehr (dowry), and establish a sexual relationship according to Islam. And it should be agreed that both will continue to study and follow the relationship of husband and wife. And this freedom has been given by Islam that when the children reach puberty, they should be married off. And when your heart desires marriage, then tell your family about the marriage. And if he cannot afford it, then Islam has ordered to keep voluntary fasts. Keep fasts and protect your private parts.
And if you want the kind of freedom that the wolves demanded in favor of the goats, then see your end as well. And there are many examples in the pages of history of girls who raised such slogans, which we keep observing. The condition of such girls becomes such that they neither find a home nor a husband. Rather, he used her, tortured her, celebrated the sexual relationship, quenched his thirst, and sometimes she was targeted for sexuality through a friend. Then she was taunted. And when she was no longer of any use, then she was abandoned. And then her condition became such that she could neither find another husband nor did she have any supporter or helper. Rather, she started begging from door to door to make a living, or she turned to brothels for a few pennies and became a target of sexuality to eat a few pieces of bread and then became a victim of death. And their corpses were dragged by dogs, their bodies were scattered by beasts, and they ended up in the garbage dump. Neither a shroud was available nor a grave. And the corpse made the whole universe smelly. The funeral of the parents' honor was taken out. This is freedom.
One more thing I would like to say, brother, tell me, when boys and girls are raising the slogan of freedom for girls, what will they do then? The same thing, right? Go to a restaurant or any other platform of debauchery and indulge in debauchery. And in what respect is this debauchery correct? Can anyone tell me? When every religion has a rule made for marriage, then get married. Who is stopping you? And freedom from what is needed? There is no restriction on eating, no restriction on drinking, no restriction on shopping, no restriction on reading and writing, no restriction on playing, no restriction on living according to the society, there are no chains in her hands, there are no shackles on her feet, there is no restriction on any need that she has, but the restriction is only on this that the honor of the parents, brothers, and sisters remains in the society. And when it comes to marriage, doesn't sexuality exist then? It does then too. She gets pregnant then too. She becomes the bed of the man then too. She becomes the mother of children. She becomes a sister-in-law. She becomes someone's daughter-in-law. And her parents give permission in front of the whole society. At that time, the parents, brothers, sisters, every human being in the society looks at her with respect, but despite the fact that she establishes sexual relations at that time as well, but when a sexual relationship is established with her before marriage, then probably every sensible person considers her a sinner. The boy is a sinner. What is the reason? The reason is only this that it is a defect before marriage. So what kind of freedom do you want? I only understand one thing that those who demand this kind of freedom want humiliation, not respect because being a fornicator and adulteress is not a matter of respect, but rather a matter of dishonor. Or if a boy or a girl is caught, are garlands put around their necks? No, but shoes and slippers are waved around them to ward off evil. Why? Because it is a matter of honor and dignity.
For God's sake, my brothers, do not violate the limits of Allah. Fear Allah. You have to give an account there too. You have to answer every question. It is a good thing that you protest and against every oppression. And if it is correct, according to the constitution of Islam or in accordance with the social position, we stand shoulder to shoulder with you. But do not raise such a slogan of freedom that our sisters become victims of brutality and their marital bliss is destroyed, and their honor is trampled by the same beasts who are raising the slogan of freedom. Rather, it happens and will happen when goats are handed over to wolves. They can only tear them apart. They cannot graze them. And this thing should be heard with open ears by Muslim boys and girls that Islam has given as much freedom as a boy and a girl needed. Now what the girl needs is not freedom, but rather a certificate to play with honor.
May Allah grant us the ability to think and understand. Amen, O Lord of the Worlds, for the sake of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.
