As Ramadan approaches, Huffaz (those who have memorized the Quran) also become busy searching for places to recite the Holy Quran, and they think about how they can get a place to recite the Quran and that's all they need.
But the Hafiz who say during the year that they will not accept gifts after reciting the Holy Quran, as soon as Ramadan approaches, they go back on their promise and come up with the interpretation that whatever the followers give out of their own happiness is a different matter.
So what is the difference between them and those who ask for dowry?
In the present era, it has been observed that the groom's family also says the same thing, that whatever you people give for your daughter out of your own happiness, we will gladly accept it.
But you are well aware of what the girl's family goes through, the anxiety that their hearts experience.
So, a request to the Huffaz:
Only recite the Holy Quran, and avoid making such interpretations.
The Quran is not a business, it is a trust.
The Quran is certainly a source of sustenance, but not with conditions, pressure, and hints.
Allah Almighty Himself takes responsibility for the sustenance of those who serve the Quran, provided that the intention is pure and the action is sincere.
This writing is not to humiliate anyone, but a heartfelt cry for the dignity of the Quran, the status of the Huffaz, and the reformation of the Ummah.
May Allah grant us sincerity and make the Quran a means of salvation for our world and the hereafter. Amen.
