Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ is a very sacred and blessed day for the Muslim Ummah, in which the joys of the blessed birth of our beloved master and lord, Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa ﷺ, are celebrated. This day is not only for joy and celebration but also a reason for Muslims to renew their love for the Prophet ﷺ, remember the Seerat-e-Tayyiba (the Prophet's life), and strive to live their lives according to his example.

In the year 2025, the gatherings of Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ hold a historical significance, as this celebration is being observed in the 1500th year. In the history of fifteen centuries, the Muslim Ummah has always celebrated this day with devotion and respect, and in every era, efforts have been made to keep the love and Seerat of the Prophet ﷺ alive. This shows that the world has changed, times have changed, empires have come and gone, but the love for the Prophet ﷺ is still as alive in the hearts of Muslims as it was in the beginning.

Historically, the origin of Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ dates back to the time of the Sahaba (companions of the Prophet) and Tabi'in (followers of the companions). In the early period, this day was celebrated with simplicity, in which people recited Durood and Salam (blessings and peace) in memory of the blessed birth of the Prophet ﷺ, offered Nawafil (voluntary prayers), and tried to implement his teachings in their lives. In later times, especially after the Khulafa-e-Rashideen (the Rightly Guided Caliphs), the Awliya-e-Kiram (saints) and the Sultans of Islam gave Eid Milad a structured form of celebration, in which knowledge, wisdom, spirituality, and love for the Prophet ﷺ were highlighted.

The real purpose of Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ is not just to celebrate, but this day reminds us that living life in the light of the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ is the greatest joy. On this day, we remember the Seerat, morals, justice, fairness, tolerance, patience, gratitude, and service to humanity of Hazrat ﷺ and try to emulate them in our lives. This day becomes a cause of unity, brotherhood, goodwill, and spiritual renewal for Muslims.

The 1500-year celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ gatherings are held with devotion and respect in every corner of the world today. Illumination, gatherings of remembrance, Naat recitations, sermons, and scholarly sessions make this day more blessed and meaningful. This day also teaches us that true happiness is achieved only through worship and piety, not through worldly colors and lights.

Finally, it would be correct to say that the celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ is not just a religious ritual, but it is a day of renewal of love, peace, ethics, and faith for Muslims. In the history of 1500 years, this celebration assures us that the love and teachings of the Prophet ﷺ will always remain alive, and the Muslim Ummah will always move forward on the paths of progress in the light of his teachings. Insha'Allah ﷻ
