🌹°««Iman is Not Only in Prostrations»»°🌹
---------------------------------------------------

First of all, I extend my Assalam-o-Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh to all of you.
Today, the topic on which I want to present a few points before you is:
“Iman is Not Only in Prostrations”.
I have chosen this title because in today's era, we have greatly limited the meaning of Iman. We have begun to understand that Iman means only offering prayers, performing a few acts of worship, or limiting oneself to specific deeds, while the rest of our lives—dealings, morals, behaviors, and character—we spend according to our own will.
This way of thinking is not only against the spirit of Iman but also makes us oblivious to the fact that Iman affects a person's entire life, not just limited to the place of worship.
If Iman is true, it is also reflected in our words, actions, transactions, truthfulness, justice, and morals. Contradiction between worship and action is actually a sign of weakness of Iman, which Islam strongly dislikes.

Generally, Iman is understood to be limited to a few outward acts of worship, such as prayer, fasting, and other outward deeds, although a deep study of the Quran and Sunnah clarifies the fact that Iman is not merely the name of a few formal acts but a comprehensive intellectual and practical system that affects a person's entire life. In the Holy Quran, Iman has been repeatedly mentioned with righteous deeds, which is a clear proof that the standard of truthfulness of Iman is not merely a claim but character and behavior. Therefore, Allah Almighty says: “Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds - those are the best of creatures” (Surah Al-Bayyinah: 7). This verse clarifies that Iman does not find its completion without deeds. The teachings of the Holy Prophet ﷺ are also a translator of this comprehensive concept. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Iman has more than seventy branches” (Sahih Muslim), which include acts of worship and those actions that are related to a person's daily life and social responsibilities, even removing a harmful thing from the road is considered a part of Iman. From this, it becomes clear that Iman is not limited to places of worship but is the name of creating goodness, ease, and peace in society. The Islam that demands Iman makes a person not only a worshiper but also a person of character, honest, and responsible, because in the sight of Allah Almighty, the real value is not of appearance but of the intention of the heart and deeds. That is why if worship gives rise to arrogance, religiosity becomes a cause of considering others inferior, and religion takes the form of torment, then it is contrary to the spirit of Iman. Islam wants such Iman which becomes a means of humility in prayer, honesty in transactions, gentleness in speech, and ease in society, as the Holy Prophet ﷺ said: “A Muslim is one from whose hand and tongue people are safe” (Sahih Bukhari

So, the conclusion is that Iman is not only
limited to prostrations but is manifested in humanity, benevolence, and avoidance of harm; prostration is the foundation of Iman, but character is its true identity, and this is the Iman that is acceptable and pleasing to Allah Almighty.
