Where is this era heading?

This question is in the mind of every person today: Where is this era heading?
Are we moving forward in the name of progress, or are we falling behind in terms of values?
Is the light showing us the way, or are we getting lost in the darkness?
The Quran reminds us again and again that human success is not measured only by worldly standards but by the balance of action, intention, and conscience:
“And We gave man the power to learn and understand, and then put him to the test to show him his way” (Al-Insan 76:2-3)
This era is giving us great facilities, but it is also bringing dangerous tests with it.
We have mistaken speed for progress, and outward appearance for the standard of success.
But the Quran warns us:
“Whoever strives for the Hereafter will be successful, and worldly life is but a deception” (Al-Qasas 28:77)
Today's man is full of information, but empty of thought.
Every moment new news, new technology, new trends—but the heart and conscience are left far behind.
We have left ethics behind expediency,
We have turned fame into value and goodness into display.
The Prophet (PBUH) said that a time will come:
“Words will be more but the effect will be less; outward piety will be there but sincerity will be weak”
And alas! That time is before us today.
This era is forcing us to decide:
Will we just pretend?
Will we be happy with outward successes,
Or will we examine our intentions, our worship, and our character?
Allah Almighty repeatedly advises us in the Quran that:
“Allah knows the intentions hidden in the hearts of people, not the outward appearance of deeds” (Aal-Imran 3:29)
This era is telling us:
If you cannot change yourself,
If you do not listen to your conscience,
Then all these means of speed will mislead you.

Therefore, the question is still the same, but the answer is hidden within every human being:
Where is this era heading?
This era may be moving forward rapidly,
But whether our conscience and intention are standing with it or not, that is the real decision.
This article is in front of you,
Now the question is to you:
Think, feel, and answer—where do we stand?
