In this era of social media, everyone has a pen and a pulpit in their hands. Everyone is speaking, writing, explaining—but the listener is becoming less and less.
The problem is not disagreement, the problem is that we have turned disagreement into enmity. Anyone who thinks differently from us is immediately declared wrong, ignorant, or misguided.
Times have changed, but tolerance has decreased.
We talk with tone instead of reason,
And we want reform with strictness instead of wisdom.
Although the truth is that strictness often creates resistance, not change.
A strange contradiction is also that we consider our opinion to be the truth, but we do not tolerate questioning it. Questioning has been taken as rebellion and reform as criticism.
This thinking prevents us from learning, because whoever considers himself complete does not move forward.
