“Beware of the enemy's conspiracies: Save your faith, make service a form of worship.”
==============
Today, we are going through an era where the enemy is conspiring in every possible way to harm the faith, beliefs, and unity of Muslims. From all sides, such trials and tricks are being played that are designed to weaken, scatter, and make Muslims unaware of their identity. Unfortunately, some of our Muslim brothers, despite having knowledge and awareness, proudly join the enemy's conspiracies in the desire for fame and consider such actions as their right, which are contrary to the religion of Islam.
The issue of buying idols and celebrating it
Many Muslim brothers, despite having knowledge, feel proud in buying idols and gifting them or decorating their homes on the occasion of Hindu festivals. They ignore the fact that Islam has explicitly forbidden shirk, innovation, and all those actions that corrupt the faith. In the Holy Quran, Allah Almighty says:
"وَلَا تُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا" — And do not associate anything with Allah. (An-Nisa: 36)
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"من أتى قرية فيها تمثال أو صورة، فأهلك من أتيها" — Whoever comes to a town where there is an idol or picture, he is counted among the worst of people. (Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim)
Similarly, the Prophet ﷺ said:
"من تشبه بقوم فهو منهم" — Whoever imitates a people is one of them. (Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi)
Therefore, it is necessary for us to abstain from those actions that not only weaken our faith but also tarnish the reputation of the Muslim Ummah.
What should we do?
Islam teaches us to treat others with kindness, deal with them justly, and make human service a part of our worship. The Quran says:
"وَتَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوَىٰ وَلَا تَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ" — Help one another in righteousness and piety, and do not help one another in sin and aggression. (Al-Ma'idah: 2)
We should help the poor, needy, and helpless people in our homeland, regardless of their religion or ethnicity. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"خَيرُ النَّاسِ أنْفَعُهُم لِلنَّاسِ" — The best of people are those who are most beneficial to others. (Ad-Darimi)
If we dedicate our strength and resources to serving these poor people, it will be a service to humanity and our ranks will be elevated in the sight of Allah.
It is obligatory on us to:
1. Strengthen our faith and avoid shirk and innovation.
2. Use knowledge and awareness, and do not waste it for worldly fame.
3. Consider human service as worship and help those in need.
4. Live our lives in the light of the Quran and Hadith and provide guidance to the Ummah on the right path.
5. Respect the religion of others but do not imitate it, but make it your duty to serve them with good morals.
But what benefit will you get from making fun of Islam with your actions? Rather, you will only suffer. You will gradually move away from the religion, and then do not think that your honor will be doubled, rather your honor will be tarnished even among your family members, and non-Muslims will also make you an example and make fun of your weakness. As happened with many people in the recent past.
Remember! Islam is a complete religion, those who weaken its teachings or distance themselves from it ultimately suffer themselves and are deprived of guiding the Ummah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"من تشبه بقوم فهو منهم" — Whoever imitates a people is one of them. (Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi)
Similarly, Allah says in the Holy Quran:
"وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَ الَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ" — And do not follow the desires of those who do not know. (Al-A'raf: 179)
Therefore, it is obligatory on you to protect your faith, improve your life, and maintain your honor in the light of the religion of Islam.
Refrain from actions that weaken you instead of making you great in the eyes of others. To protect your family, your Ummah, and your personal life, stay on the straight path and give priority to the pleasure of Allah.
In conclusion
We should protect our faith, give priority to the pleasure of Allah, and prove by our actions that Muslims are a noble, dignified, and serving Ummah. The Quran promises:
"إِنَّ اللّهَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَالإِحْسَانِ وَإِيتَاءِ ذِي القُرْبَىٰ وَيَنْهَىٰ عَنِ الْفَحْشَاءِ وَالْمُنكَرِ وَالْبَغْيِ ۚ يَعِظُكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ" — Indeed, Allah orders justice, kindness and giving to relatives, and forbids immorality, bad conduct and oppression. He admonishes you that perhaps you will be reminded. (An-Nahl: 90)
Let us protect our faith, help one another, and improve our lives according to the Quran and Sunnah. This is the path of truth, this is the service of the Ummah, and this is the cause of Allah's pleasure.
Wa Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu
