It is necessary for a follower (Muqallid) to understand both correct following (Taqlid-e-Sahih) and personal following (Taqlid-e-Shakhsi) properly. Sometimes, a follower commits big mistakes due to not understanding the correct meaning of following. The limits of permissibility of absolute following (Taqlid-e-Mutlaq), the time, and then the obligation of personal following, its purpose, the religious harms of abandoning it, it is necessary to understand all of this. And understanding all of this depends on studying books, and this depends on the passion for seeking the truth, and this depends on thinking about the afterlife. Therefore, study the writings that exist regarding the affirmation of following, understand them, and despite this, if something is not understood, then try to understand it from a religious scholar, not by being stubborn, but with the intention of questioning. People only object, but they don't read; if they read, they don't understand; if they understand, they race the horses of their intellect, and as a result, they read the right thing but understand the wrong thing. That is why it is necessary to consult scholars during study.
