Allah, the Almighty, has bestowed many blessings upon mankind in this world, subjugating all comforts and luxuries for them. Among all these great blessings, the most significant and important is time. If wealth is lost, it can be regained, and if a person falls ill, they can recover. However, once time passes, it never returns.

For this reason, wise people have described time as more precious than gold, silver, and jewels. Nations that valued time achieved progress, while those who wasted it faced failure and decline. Those who understood the value of time turned deserts into gardens, and those who wasted this resource were subjected to slavery and captivity. Therefore, those who appreciated time continued to progress, while those who did not suffered losses.

Time is a God-given resource that is equally distributed to everyone. The Creator of the universe has not shown any excess or deficiency in bestowing it. Surah Al-Asr in the Holy Quran declares the importance of understanding and valuing time so that success and prosperity may be destined.

In a Hadith, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Take advantage of five things before five other things: life before death, health before sickness, free time before being occupied, youth before old age, and wealth before poverty." In the meaning of this Hadith, there is a lesson for everyone, especially for the believers, that it is the requirement of a person's understanding and wisdom to make the best use of this God-given blessing (time) and also to be aware that the Lord who has bestowed this great resource will one day question him about it, on a day when there will be no escape and accountability will be very difficult.

It is known that there is nothing more precious than time in this world, and it is extremely important to know the importance of time, to value it, to use it correctly, and to avoid wasting it unnecessarily.

Remember! The moment that is wasted and slips out of hand will never come back.

Time has both tightness and expansion, like rubber.
It increases when stretched and shrinks when released.
