My Role Models

Meaning

For you, the life of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is the best example.

In human life, the status of a role model is like a guiding light, which shows the way in the darkness. When it comes to a perfect and comprehensive role model, there is only one name in the history of mankind that shines brightly, and that is Mahboob-e-Ilahi (Beloved of God), Rehmat-ul-lil-Aalameen (Mercy for all the worlds), Sultan-e-Dunya (Sultan of the World), Tajdar-e-Haram (Crown of the Sacred Mosque), Khatam-un-Nabiyeen (Seal of the Prophets), Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa ﷺ. He ﷺ is a perfect example of guidance, morality, love, and justice not only for Muslims but for all humanity.

Every aspect of the life of Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ is worthy of emulation. Living in the world as an ordinary human being, he ﷺ established principles that are a beacon of light until the Day of Judgment. He ﷺ taught us that greatness lies not in wealth, power, or lineage, but in character.

He is a human being, yet the most unique, Huzoor ﷺ

The leader of creation, the beloved of God, is Huzoor ﷺ

Allah Almighty sent Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa ﷺ not for any one nation, region, or time, but as a mercy for all the worlds.

Allah Almighty clearly states in the Holy Quran:

“وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ”

(And We have not sent you ﷺ except as a mercy to the worlds)

This verse is a clear proof of the fact that the blessed being of the Holy Prophet ﷺ is entirely mercy, which is a source of goodness and blessing not only for human beings but for every creation.

Today's world is a victim of hatred, selfishness, and insensitivity. In such a situation, the life of Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ is a beacon of light for us. If we can instill the gentleness of Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ in our attitudes, the justice of Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ in our decisions, and the love of Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ in our hearts, then this world can become a reflection of paradise.

Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ is my role model because the character of Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ is universal. Time changes, circumstances change, seasons change, times change, but the teachings of Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ are still as fresh and applicable today as they were fourteen hundred years ago. This universality makes him ﷺ the best role model in the world.
