The question is, what is the reason for immodesty? Mobile or distance from religion?
The reality is that both these factors are deeply connected to each other, but the real and fundamental reason is distance from religion, while mobile further accelerates and expands this weakness.
Immodesty is not just a social or moral problem, but it is the result of our attitudes, environment, upbringing, and modern cultural influences.
Distance from religion - this is the real and fundamental reason
Religion gives a person a sense of modesty, morality, self-accountability, and responsibility. When a person becomes distant from religious teachings:
The fear of God decreases in his heart
Character and morals become weak
The distinction between lawful and unlawful disappears
The importance of modesty is ignored
The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
"Modesty is a part of faith."
When faith weakens, modesty also weakens, and thus immodest behaviors begin to flourish.
Excessive use of mobile and social media...
Mobile itself is not evil, but its misuse plays a major role in increasing immodesty, such as:
Easy access to obscene content and wrong pictures and videos
Waste of time and mental pollution
Blind imitation of Western and secular culture
Social media has reduced modesty and increased showiness and fame.
One reason for this is when:
The religious environment in the home is weak
Children's upbringing is purely worldly
Then the paths of immodesty open up.
. Media, films and fashion culture
Dramas, films and advertisements:
Present obscenity as "freedom"
Weaken family and modesty
Change the views of the younger generation
Solution:
Revive modesty
Establish a strong relationship with religious teachings
Use mobile and internet regularly and limitedly
Create a sense of fear of Allah and accountability
Create an environment of modesty, respect and morality in homes
Promote good company and positive activities
The biggest reason for immodesty is actually distance from religion, while mobile and social media are a major source and means of rapid spread. If a person connects with religion
adopts modesty as his motto and uses technology responsibly, then society can return to moral heights again.
