Virtues of Friday (Brief)
Friday is a very blessed and virtuous day in Islam. On this day, Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) was born and on this day he was admitted to Paradise. On Friday, there is a special hour in which the prayer that is asked is not rejected. There is a special virtue in reciting Durood Sharif abundantly on this day, because Durood is presented to the Holy Prophet ﷺ. Friday prayer is obligatory for Muslims, and participating in it leads to forgiveness of sins and elevation of ranks.
May Allah grant us the ability to fully benefit from the blessings of Friday. Amen 🤲
