The author of many books and the student of Hazrat Shah Waliullah Muhaddis Dehlavi, *Maulana Rafiuddin Sahib Muradabadi*
It is said that his travelogue of Hajj is the first travelogue of Hajj from India.
He departed from his homeland, the city of Muradabad, on 18th Muharram 1201 AH and returned home in 1203 AH after two years, two months, and two weeks.
In his travelogue of Hajj, he wrote about a strange thing of that era (which reveals the widest gulf of sectarian differences at that time).
He writes that: "In the Haram, the practice of separate congregations for each sect was found. In Fajr, the Shafi'i Imam leads first, followed by the Maliki, Hanbali, and Hanafi Imams in order.
In Zuhr, Asr, and Isha prayers, the Maliki Imam leads first, followed by the Shafi'i and Hanafi.
In Maghrib, the Hanafi Imam leads first, followed by the Shafi'i Imam.
Usually, it happens that one says Salam and the other says Iqamat; but this is not a good thing, this whole arrangement is Bid'ah, and the Friday prayer is a witness to the fact that everyone prays behind one Imam. The Hanafi congregation is the most numerous among all the congregations.
