The question is, why are people moving away from prayer and the mosque day by day? What is the real reason?
In the current situation and era, the number of worshippers is decreasing day by day, rather the entire society is wrapped in a blanket of negligence and is sleeping carelessly. This blanket of negligence has enveloped every individual in the society, whether they are the elite or the common people, the group of scholars and memorizers of the Quran, or the group of ordinary religious people, or the group of intellectuals and visionaries, whether the face is radiant with light or the face is without light, whether it is a man or a woman, the whole society is full of non-prayers.
And the negative effects of the misfortune of non-prayers are constantly raining down on the entire society in the form of calamities and disasters, and punishment on land and sea, which we do not even realize a little bit. Different kinds of evils are being born in our society day by day, due to which our souls and bodies are becoming victims of various diseases, even as a result of abandoning prayer, the elders and youth of the society are moving away from prayer, leading to drinking alcohol, gambling, speculation, usury, lying, deception, fraud, bribery, lustful glances, hoteling, and wasting time unnecessarily in wedding halls, sticking to mobile phones unnecessarily, all these un-Islamic things are taking their place in the society, etc. etc. All these actions weaken faith and certainty, and the whole settlement has become completely deprived of light and blessings, desolate and like a city of the silent. The importance and value of prayer has faded in the hearts and minds of the new generation.
Here are some reasons for not praying, which are listed below:
A, Abandoning prayer, that is, after faith, the most important act of worship is prayer. By establishing prayer, a believer is protected from indecency and evil.
Qal Allahu Tabaraka wa Ta'ala, Inna al-salata tanha 'an al-fahsha'i wal-munkar, (Surat al-'Ankabut, Verse 45)
Allah Almighty says, Indeed, prayer prevents indecency and evil ,
B, The second reason is not taking care of lawful sustenance,
C, The third reason, making market things our food, whether they are edibles or drinks, all these are harmful to hearts and faith,
D, The most important reason for being away from prayer is the general lack of knowledge of God, and due to the lack of fear of God, we have given preference to the world over the hereafter, and we have forgotten the hereafter, we have forgotten the threats and punishments of God, that is, we have completely lost faith in the day of reckoning,
E, One of the reasons for not praying is also hatred of death, love of life, and weakness of certainty of meeting God,
The most important way to bring people closer to prayer
is that scholars and the elite, along with performing the five daily prayers, should also take care of all the supererogatory prayers (Tahajjud, Ishraq, Chasht, Awwabin, etc.) and becoming angel-like will prove to be a very effective act, Insha'Allah,
The second method is to advise and counsel people only with the verses of the Quran with understanding

The third method is to emphasize the clarification of Tawhid (Oneness of God) among the people in a strong way and to openly state the reprehensibility of Shirk (polytheism) so that the truth is established and falsehood is nullified,
