Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One, Allah, the Eternal Refuge, He neither begets nor is born, Nor is there to Him any equivalent."
Say, He is Allah, the One. Allah is independent, everyone is dependent on Him. He is neither a father nor a son, and there is none equal to Him.

This Surah is a very comprehensive Surah. There is great virtue in this Surah, and it is called a third of the Quran. This Surah is in response to some of those disbelievers who asked about the lineage of Allah Almighty.
The first verse is the answer to those who believe in multiple gods. The second verse is the answer to those who associate others with Allah in fulfilling needs and relieving difficulties. The third verse is the answer to those who believe in lineage and a son for Allah. The fourth verse is the answer to those who equate different deities with Allah in any way.
