My Role Models

Meaning

For you, the life of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) is the best example.

In human life, the role of a role model is like a guiding light, which shows the way in the darkness. When it comes to a perfect and comprehensive role model, there is only one name in the history of mankind that shines brightly, and that is Mahboob-e-Ilahi, Rehmat-ul-lil-Alameen, Sultan-e-Daren, Tajdar-e-Haram, Khatam-ul-Anbiya, Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (peace be upon him). He (peace be upon him) is not only a perfect example of guidance, morality, love and justice for Muslims but for the entire humanity.

Every aspect of the life of Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) is worthy of emulation. He (peace be upon him) lived in the world as an ordinary human being and established principles that are a beacon for eternity. He (peace be upon him) taught us that greatness lies not in wealth, power or lineage but in character.

He is a human being and the most unique, Huzoor ﷺ

Leader of the creation, beloved of God, is Huzoor ﷺ

Allah Almighty sent Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (peace be upon him) as a mercy not for one nation, region or time but for all the worlds.

Allah Almighty clearly states in the Holy Quran

“وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ”

(And We have not sent you (O Muhammad SAW) except as a mercy for the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).)

This verse is a clear proof of the fact that the blessed being of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) is entirely mercy, which is a source of goodness and blessing not only for human beings but for every creature.

Today's world is a victim of hatred, selfishness and insensitivity. In such a situation, the life of Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) is a beacon of light for us. If we instill the gentleness of the Prophet (peace be upon him) in our attitudes, the justice of the Prophet (peace be upon him) in our decisions, and the love of the Prophet (peace be upon him) in our hearts, then this world can become a reflection of paradise.

Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) is my role model because the character of Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) is universal. Time changes, circumstances change, seasons change, times change, but the teachings of the Prophet (peace be upon him) are still as fresh and applicable today as they were fourteen hundred years ago. This universality makes him (peace be upon him) the best role model in the world.
