“The Pen Trembling in the Majesty of Truth - A Protest in the Form of a Poem”
Article (64) In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
The depth of this poem and its harsh satirical tone are actually a passionate protest, which directly engages with the rulers of its time. It is not merely a critique of the corridors of power, but also an uninhibited accountability of those so-called religious people who distort the bright image of Islam with their deeds, and cloak ostentation and hypocrisy in the guise of religiosity.
To be honest, during the completion of this poem, its intensity and truthfulness caused a tremor in my body; however, peace remained in my heart. This was not a sign of fear, but rather the majesty of the truth, which, when transformed into words, shakes a person from within. Perhaps this is proof that this verse is not born out of any personal interest or desire for display, but rather out of sincere intention and heartfelt pain. This poem has two parts. Part One:
Question to the Halls of Power
Part Two:
A Mirror to the Ummah.
May Allah make this truthfulness a cause of success and triumph for me, and not accountability, and may this poem be accepted as a testimony of truth in this era.
Part One. (1) Poem.
Why write darkness as light, falsehood as piety?
Why write the praise of a human being who is a manifestation of Iblis?
For the sake of protecting the chair, they change the constitution
Why write the setting sun of this era as light?
Those who kick votes away in the marketplace
Why write God as the destiny of those hands?
Those who steal votes and sit on the throne every time
Why write such a guardian as loyal?
Paradise in speech, hell shown through actions
Why write the cruelty of these promise-breakers as loyalty?
Those whose prayers keep this market of oppression hot
Why write the cloak of religion on those faces?
Those who sit deaf in the halls
Why write the cry of the oppressed as wind?
Every day a new face, a new promise, a new wound
Why write this game of politics as loyalty?
Those who fill the pages of history with blood
Why write those crimes as pious?
Those who entangle the children of the nation in clothes
Why write those enthroned ones as Messiahs?
Those who drown in debt and call slavery a skill
Why write the thinking of those leaders as profound?
Those who build the edifice of politics on corpses
What to write about those crown-wearing thugs?
Those who erase settlements in the name of law
Why write peace in the hands of those who bring the constitution?
Those who buy the truth and sell their conscience
Why write the custom of loyalty of such guardians?
Those who divide the nation sometimes by religion, sometimes by race
Why write those mischief-mongers as people of survival?
If Noori speaks the truth, he is considered a criminal here
In such times, what else to write except the truth?
Noori, here even conscience is found in the market
In such a city, what remains of humanity to write about?
Part Two: (2) Poem.
He is a five-time prayer, but there is no light in his heart
Why write the ascension of such a worshiper?
The Quran is on the lips, but the actions are like Iblis
Why write the reward and recompense of such a reciter?
The chest is empty of the love of Muhammad ﷺ
Why write the purpose of such faith?
He raises a finger at the Companions, commits injustice to the Ahl al-Bayt (RA)
Why write loyalty to the religion of that person?
There is no morality, there is contradiction in word and deed
What to write about such a Muslim?
He neither understands nor adopts the Seerah of Ahmad ﷺ
Why write the light of that knowledge and skill?
Those who lose their identity in imitating others
Why write survival to the future of that nation?
There is a beard, there is clothing, but there is no Sunnah and character
Why write such religiosity as hypocrisy?
He runs away from justice, does not know forbearance
What to write about that power and glory?
The Quran declares that Muhammad ﷺ is the example
What other path to write besides that?
Noori, those who cannot walk on the path of Muhammad ﷺ
Why write that claim of love as true?
