Why is Believing in Allah Necessary for Us?
Believing in Allah Almighty is the foundation of Islam and the most important principle of human life. Without faith in Allah, neither the purpose of human life becomes clear, nor do his actions get the right direction. Belief in Allah not only gives a person spiritual peace but also improves his moral, social, and practical life.
1. The Purpose of Life Becomes Clear
Belief in Allah gives us the awareness that we have not come into this world without a purpose, but that worshiping Allah Almighty and attaining His pleasure is the real purpose of our life. In the Holy Quran, Allah Almighty says:
> "And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me."2
Recognition of the Difference Between Good and Evil
Belief in Allah creates a feeling within a person that Allah is watching us all the time. Because of this belief, a person is inclined towards goodness and tries to avoid evil. He knows that every action will have to be accounted for before Allah.
3. Building Moral Character
A person who believes in Allah adopts high moral qualities such as truthfulness, honesty, justice, patience, and compassion. Faith strengthens a person's character and helps him to become a good human being.
4. Patience and Courage in Difficulties
The life of this world is full of trials. Belief in Allah assures a person that every difficulty is a test from Allah and that there is definitely some wisdom behind it. With this belief, a person adopts the path of patience and prayer instead of despair.
5. Peace and Tranquility of Heart
Belief in Allah gives peace to the human heart. When a person trusts in Allah, fear, anxiety, and restlessness decrease. It is said in the Holy Quran:
> "Beware! It is in the remembrance of Allah that hearts find peace." Success in the Hereafter
Belief in Allah reminds us of the Hereafter where every human being will be rewarded for his deeds. Belief in Allah encourages a person to do good deeds so that he can be successful in this world as well as in the Hereafter.

Believing in Allah gives meaning, direction, and purpose to human life. This faith makes a person a good human being, a better Muslim, and a responsible citizen. That is why believing in Allah is very important for us, because success in both this world and the Hereafter is hidden in it.
