*A Muslim Girl's Hijab and the Deceit of the Great Deceiver*
This is not just an incident; it is a moment reflecting a mindset, a moment that exposed the politics drowned in the intoxication of power. And the hijab of an innocent, dignified Muslim girl mirrored the conscience of the world. The hijab, which is not merely a piece of cloth, but a symbol of faith, a protection of identity, and a fortress of self-respect. To lay hands on this hijab is, in fact, an attack on a woman's dignity, her freedom, and her religious right. The hand that was supposed to uphold the constitution, protect civil liberties, and safeguard the dignity of the weak, its extension is a declaration that when authority is devoid of morality, it becomes oppression. A Muslim girl who stood with her hard work, her ability, and her modest identity was not understood to be limited to her dress, but her personal boundaries were violated. This behavior is not only undesirable but unacceptable, and our demand is that the judges sitting in Darul Qaza take action on this and remove him from office. The question here is not just about the hijab; it is about consent, respect, and freedom. If a woman's dress is her own choice, her belief, and her identity, then no ruler, no official has the right to lay hands on it. A government that dares to lay hands on a woman's dress has, in fact, lost its moral justification. This is the point where an illegitimate government is identified, when power becomes a means of humiliation instead of public service, when strength transforms into domination instead of protection, when the satisfaction of ego is prioritized over the spirit of the constitution, then understand that the government has itself demolished the moral pillars of its existence. The Muslim girl's hijab is silently screaming today. This scream is not of hatred but of justice. This scream is a reminder that religious freedom is not a concession but a fundamental right, that a woman's dignity is not a field for anyone's entertainment or expression of power, and that respect is established by giving, not by taking.
We demand that there be clear accountability for such actions, not just formal statements, that apologies are not just in words but visible in action, and that the message is conveyed with full force that a woman's dignity, religious freedom, and personal boundaries are non-negotiable. My sisters, remember, the hijab is not weakness but dignity, silence is not helplessness but patience, and whoever touches the hijab, in fact, tears the veil of humanity. Nations are elevated on the day they learn to protect the dignity of the weak.
I want to declare in clear and unequivocal terms that we will not refrain from putting our honor and dignity at stake. We have inherited this honor, and we will not let it be snatched away silently. We have been granted this self-respect, and we will protect it. If anyone has understood that temporary power can be demonstrated by playing with a Muslim woman's hijab, her dignity, and her identity, then they are severely mistaken.
We have always made patience our motto, but this patience is not insensitivity. We have chosen silence, but this is not weakness. If such foolishness is repeated, if the honor and dignity of any Muslim daughter, sister, or mother is touched again, then we will not remain silent at the cost of our honor. We will adopt every path that the constitution, law, and morality give us, and we will tell the world that a Muslim woman's dignity is a red line that no one is allowed to cross.
Our demand from the people sitting in Darul Qaza is that they punish Nitish Kumar according to the Constitution of India, which our constitution also allows us, and teach him that law of the Constitution of India in which it is written that every religious person has the full right to follow his religion, and every criminal who does this should be put behind bars according to the Constitution of India, and be removed from office because when a CM himself does this, then to whom will this nation seek its blood from? Therefore, a case should be registered against Nitish Kumar and he should be punished.
May Allah Almighty be the supporter and helper of Muslims and protect us from all tribulations. Ameen, O Lord of the Worlds, by the grace of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.
