Time is passing so quickly
It feels like just a few days ago we saw the moon of Ramadan,
and now two decades have passed
Today is the 23rd fast
Did we find in this Ramadan what we wanted to find.....?
Were our prayers as they should have been.....?
Did our nights pass as a believer's nights pass....?
Or did we once again waste time
In our desires
In social media
In work
In taking care of children
In sitting here and there
In gossiping
In the rat race of the world.....?
These moments will not come again
These nights will not be found again
These prostrations,
These tears,
These prayers,
Everything will be accounted for
There is still time
Appease your Lord
Bow your heart
Prepare for your forgiveness,
Because perhaps this Ramadan is the last Ramadan of our lives.
