*The Muslim is not weak*

There is power in the embrace of Islam, and the secret of power is hidden in faith. A Muslim is never weak. He becomes weak only when the warmth of faith leaves his heart. When there was no faith, the tribes of Arabia had wealth, lineage, and fame, but they were slaves of falsehood. They had wealth but no dignity, power but no honor. And when faith came, those same slaves became masters, those same travelers of the deserts became leaders of the world.

It was this faith that gave Hazrat Hamza bin Abdul-Muttalib such glory that he shattered the pride of the Quraish. It was this faith that made Khalid bin Walid the Sword of Allah, the sword that never returned to its sheath. It was this faith that made Tariq bin Ziyad say that the sea is behind and the enemy is ahead, now there is no way back, only the path of martyrdom, and he burned the ships. It was this faith that made Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi the conqueror of Jerusalem and brought down the crowns of the Crusaders to the ground. It was this same faith that ran like lightning in the heart of Muhammad bin Qasim, who at the age of seventeen, hoisted the flag of Allah on the land of Sindh.

And it was this same faith that descended into the hearts of Noor Jahan, Rabia Basri, Khansa, Nusaiba bint Ka'ab, and Sumayya as strength, which made women like steel in the face of every falsehood in the world. Hazrat Khansa sent four sons to Jihad, and when all were martyred, she did not shed tears but said with a smile on her face, "Alhamdulillah, my sons gave their lives in the way of Allah, now I am also successful."

Hazrat Nusaiba bint Ka'ab was the one who became a shield in front of the Holy Prophet ﷺ in the field of Uhud. When the men retreated, she stepped forward and tore the chests of the disbelievers with her sword. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Wherever I looked, Nusaiba was in front of me." It was this faith that did not allow Hazrat Sumayya to abandon the Kalma even on the spear of the cruel Abu Jahl, and she became the first martyr of Islam, who showed that a woman with faith is not weak, she is the pride of the entire Ummah.

When the Muslim remained steadfast in faith, he remained victorious even in poverty, and when he was empty of faith, he was defeated despite wealth. Even today, if the Ummah instills in their hearts the courage of Khalid, the conviction of Salahuddin, and the patience of Khansa and Sumayya, then no power in the world can extinguish the lamp of Islam.

Islam has not taught to be weak. Whoever comes into Islam, even if he is a pauper of the time, is millions of times more powerful than any infidel king. Hazrat Bilal (RA) was a slave, but his calls to prayer shook the palaces of Caesar and Khosrau. Hazrat Abu Dharr (RA) did not have wealth, but the arrows of truth from his tongue pierced the chests of falsehood. Hazrat Ali (RA) did not have armor on his body, but there was a passion of faith in his arm that shook the mountains. A Muslim is never weak, he does not bow before the world, but the world bows its head before his character.
