Mention of Oppression
۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔
The biggest qualification of an oppressive person is stinginess. If you are not mean, you do not qualify for the position of oppressor. The oppressor makes sure that the opposing party is helpless, without support, and without a voice, with no possibility of reaction. Then he vents his anger. One person was known for his temper; he would lose control when angry at subordinates. One day, he lashed out at the general driver. The driver was also independent; he also got angry. Seeing this, the master immediately became like an innocent child.
One of the administrators of our mosque is bad-tempered; he quarrels with the staff every other day. One day, he was scolding the late muezzin. He was an old-time servant; he remembered his seniority. Then, he returned the volley of sentences in the local Deccani language with the same force, and his mind was set right. The local language of Bangalore is a great chapter in linguistics; it is heavier than Urdu in many meanings. Its feminine aspect is amazing, and the language of fighting is the mother of languages in terms of impact and expression. If you look closely, the arrogance of your Urdu supremacy will be balanced. There is immense eloquence in the language here.
Anyway! The essay has wandered off. So, an oppressor is not good by nature; he takes advantage of some weakness of the oppressed. Here, our power of thought will wander far and wide; while these lines want to keep the reader in a close context. In our past, there are two relationships: discipleship and filial relation. In both these relationships, we exhibit the same pettiness that seems heinous to us at the government level. The teacher takes advantage of his helpless student and beats him only because there is no possibility of reaction. This same evil nature gives courage to parents, or one of them, to oppress. They are only bold in giving verbal, mental, and physical pain to the child because they feel free. Seeing the transgression of some parents, it occurred to me that the legislation that Western countries have made against parental beating is not entirely out of place. Man takes advantage of weakness, and in this nature, he does not exempt even his child.
Delay in the marriage of children is also an example of parental oppression, especially in the context of girls; because in our environment, daughters are speechless. They sacrifice their happiness in excessive obedience to their parents. The father ignores suitable matches while waiting for a self-made standard and exploits the daughter's free services. When the age exceeds, the relationships are closed. In the early years, relationships come from Allah, which are dependent on ingratitude. At this stage, Satan instills a sentence in him that my daughter is not a burden on me. This is deception; because marriage was not his private matter that he should show endurance. This is the daughter's personal matter; you have murdered her aspirations, deprived her of the joy of life, and perhaps even of children in case of further delay; because after a certain age, the power of reproduction ends. The Hanafi jurists are far-sighted who consider the decision of marriage of a mature girl to be correct. On the word oppression, we go out to peek into government houses; while oppression is dancing around us; rather, we ourselves are oppressors in our own jurisdiction, even great elderly personalities are not exempt.
