Education is a means of providing a distinct identity among human beings. The progress and decline of every country depends on education. History is witness to the fact that if any remarkable feat is to be accomplished in any era, then acquiring knowledge is the first necessity. Acquiring knowledge is not only a moral duty but also a religious, national, and social duty. Obtaining education is obligatory for both men and women, but it should be clear that in the modern era, women's education has gained much importance, and the world is working hard on this. However, it is also necessary to remember that free and compulsory education has been provided up to the age of 14 for all, irrespective of religion and gender. However, the need for higher education cannot be denied. Higher education is a formal education given at a legal level after secondary education, which lasts for a specific period. It helps women in economic security, opportunities, social, political, and economic systems. A woman can play a better role in cultural and traditional initiatives as well. A woman's education, awareness, and consciousness are very useful for the entire society. A highly educated woman can take better care of children's health, nutrition, and education. Even in a democratic system, women constitute half of the population. It is also noteworthy that the ancient and traditional concept has been rejected in the era of progress, and the intelligence and active role of women have been recognized by the whole world. In governmental agencies, the participation of women has not only been welcomed but also encouraged for cooperation in policy-making in civil services. Participation in agencies can be direct or indirect, formal or informal. This work can be of a social, political, or administrative nature. The promotion of economic and educational literacy, as well as the creation of depth in public opinion, is also due to women's higher education. But today, unfortunately, despite hundreds of women's education awareness conferences, complete efforts are being made to convey this message to every woman in the country through articles and journals, whether through newspapers or social media, and there is a need for social-level initiatives to remove the obstacles and difficulties that come in the way of obtaining higher education. The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 aims to increase the total GER, including vocational education, to 50 percent by 2035. Despite making it easier to achieve the goal of higher education for women, women are unable to obtain higher education in the rural population of the country due to the lack of means to obtain higher education or the effects of other social traditions. There is a need for awareness campaigns in this regard, and the introduction of distance education systems of national and international universities is necessary. If female students cannot afford the fees for higher education due to economic weakness, they need to be introduced to post-graduation scholarships. In short, it is hoped that the facilities provided in the new education policy and the policy of establishing and strengthening new universities and systems will further increase this.
