• Maintain security, prevent spam.
• Provide analytics to writers (views, likes, comments).
• Legal compliance.

3. Consent & Rights

• Users provide consent at registration.
• Users can withdraw consent and delete accounts.
• Users can request correction or erasure of data.

4. Retention

• Active accounts → data retained.
• Deleted accounts → anonymized/deleted within 6 months.
• Security logs retained up to 24 months.

5. Sharing

• No sale of data.
• Shared only with hosting/email/analytics providers or government when required by law.
